Podium RVA Internships

Podium partners with local universities to host college internships every fall, spring, and summer semesters. Internships can be for academic-credit, a Federal Work-Study placement, or can be for professional volunteer experience. Podium takes interns through its partnerships with English, Mass Communications, and Social Work programs in addition to working with school career and civic centers to connect with students from related fields of study.

Podium could not reach as many youth and families without the dedicated support of interns to help with programs, communications, and events. Grow skills while making a positive impact in your community!

How do you plan your work when you have multiple conflicting tasks? Please elaborate on what time management skills you employ to help with balance and productivity.
Being an admin intern requires a keen eye for detail. What methods do you use to check for quality in your work especially when looking for errors that aren't easily noticeable.
You may be asked to create workshops on topics that aren't necessarily in your immediate realm of expertise or interest. Tell me about a time when you navigated a new task. What research methods or preparation tools were used to familiarize yourself.
